Travel Clinic (Luxembourg)

The Travel Clinic is a department of the National Infectious Diseases Service (Service national des maladies infectieuses) at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL).

Before leaving

The Travel Clinic offers consultations before you travel and preventive advice relating to vaccinations. It is able to provide a complete vaccination programme based on the patient's destination, itinerary and general state of health. It checks the patient's basic vaccine status and administers boosters if necessary.

Depending on the destination, the Travel Clinic prescribes the recommended medication, such as antimalarial treatment.

After your trip

If you experience any symptoms (fever, diarrhoea, stomach ache, skin rashes, itchiness, etc.) within 3 months of returning from your trip, contact the Travel Clinic.
