Early signs of pregnancy
If you have a regular menstrual cycle, missing your period is one of the first signs that could indicate pregnancy.
Early pregnancy may bring other symptoms as well. These can vary in intensity from one woman to another.
- Tender breasts that are firmer and a little larger than normal.
- Painful breasts.
- More prominent nipples than normal.
- Areola (the area around the nipple) darker in colour.
- Sometimes, the areola is covered with small bumps, which are known as Montgomery tubercles.
- Extreme fatigue.
- Loss of appetite.
- Changes in your sense of taste and smell.
- Nausea.
